Hello and thank you for visting my page. Milkyway Healing Bodywork is a business established in Alexandria VA run individually by Edna Ribeiro. It’s a private practice with one room office, one client at a time, one healing at a time, adding another hour or two to the thousands of hours my hands have worked for the last 15 years. My expertise is pain management, sports injuries and injury prevention.  Most people who look for my services are in pain. They want fixing! I’ve had too many people say: “Please fix me” 

Massage therapy can help “fix” you but it must be taken as a preventative measure as well. Don’t let your body scream for help before you schedule your session. 

Quoting myself from an article on the Health Magazine back in 2015:

“The body is an amazing machine. Like a car needs regular oil changes and parts get old and need to be replaced, the body needs maintenance, too. Except, we don’t get to trade it for a new one, so we have to maintain it like a well-oiled machine.”
