Neuromuscular Therapy –  Also known as Trigger Point (TP) Therapy, is what I most often use in my treatment sessions. I’ve been called “the Queen of NmT”!   This therapy, involves finding the TP adhesions in the belly of the muscle and releasing them (the famous “knots”) and by doing so, promotes muscle reintegration and helps relieve pain which is caused by muscle inflammation.

Deep Tissue Massage –
Deep tissue massage targets chronic tension in muscles that lie far below the body’s surface – third layer muscles. Deep muscle techniques involve slow strokes, direct pressure or friction movements that go across the muscle grain. When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue). Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement.

It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Sports Massage – Typically this technique is recommended for pre and post workouts a Depending on which muscle group your sport requires, we will focus on those muscles during your session. Any injuries or muscle discomfort will also be addressed. Passive stretches, deep kneading and friction are some of the techniques to be expected. Pressure is medium to heavy. A minimum 90 mins session is recommended for a full body. If for “spot work” 60 mins will suffice.

Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (MAT)
– This system brings together the most advanced therapeutic strategies to relieve, and ultimately correct, patterns in the body that lead to pain and deterioration. With MAT therapy, clients can reduce pain as well as avoid invasive surgery and toxic pain medications. Please note that this type of treatment requires multiple sessions before results can be noticed.

Myofascial Release Therapy – This technique involves releasing connective tissue adhesions aka fascia. Fascia supports 80% of our body! Myofascial release has been proven to be a great technique to relieve chronic pain.

CBD Oil Massage  -Adding CBD into lotion or oils during a massage therapy treatment, you combine the many health benefits of CBD with the relaxation and health benefits of massage. CBD massage is the gold standard of deep relaxation, deep muscle and fascia release, injury treatment, pain relief, skin hydration, reduced inflammation and more.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage – Vodder technique, is a gental manipulating certain areas of your body which helps the lymphatic system  move lympth to a working lymph vassel. Highly recommended for post surgery, post cancer treatments, post injury and for those women going through menopause.

Buccal/Facial Massage – The natural face lift that’s all over Hollywood! This massage manipulates the muscles of your face and neck, to include tissues inside your mouth. The manipulation of certain tight muscles and fascia in your face and neck releases tighness, brings more blood flow, plumps your face thus reducing the signs of aging. Buccal massage is also highly recommended for those with TMJ issues and Titinitus.
